2019

Michael Ratcliffe is a geographer who brings his interests in people and places as well as spirituality to his writing. His poems have appeared in a variety of print and online journals, most recently Fourth and Sycamore, Gargoyle, Wooden Teeth, and Fredericksburg Literary and Art Review. His chapbook, Shards of Blue (Finishing Line Press, 2015), tells the story of his great-great grandparents’ lives on the Kansas frontier from the 1850s through the Civil War and then their divorce in the 1870s. When he is not writing, he can be found bicycling throughout Central Maryland. Mike lives in North Laurel, Maryland with his wife and three sons.
